Dehumidifier DU series

EQUIPMENT TYPE
The dehumidifier is a plant to reduce the level of humidity in
the air or in another gas.

APPLICATION
Identifiers DU series are used in systems where it is
necessary to reduce the moisture in the gas stream, such
example before sending the air to a carbon filter or
before sending the biogas CHP.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Water vapour and condensate present in the biogas may
eventually damage the internal parts of the power
generation engine (pistons, injectors, valves, etc …).
To resolve this problem we design and manufacture the
dehumidifier DU series, it performs many functions: remove
all liquid droplets, reduce the absolute humidity and adjust
the gas temperature to the injection requirements. We
performed a very compact Skid, essentially composed of a
heat exchanger and chiller group, the refrigerant liquid is
usually water with glycol. All of the system components and
piping is skid mounted for an easy transport and
installation.
